SHILLINGTON – BRANYAN MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

This marriage certificate is in the Perth Museum archives. It is all hand-written in brown ink on a small sheet of paper which is becoming torn and brittle.

                               Perth U. Canada 4th October 1839.

            This may certify that on the fourth day of October
1839, by special license from the Lt. Governor of this Province
I  married  here --  Henry   Shillington   to   Charlotte
