Mr. George Ryan, boot and shoe merchant of Winnipeg, is in town visiting friends on his way to Montreal and New York. He looks well and thinks the old town is all right.
Miss Hillis left for Perth Friday, having entirely recovered from her late indisposition and secured a handsome balance on the other side of the ledger. Perth will be her health resort during the holidays. — Central Canadian.
Mrs. (Senator) Templeman has returned to Ottawa after a visit with her sisters, Mrs. McAdam and Mrs. Thoburn at Toronto. She is accompanied by Miss Josie McAdam who is going to Victoria on a visit. — Almonte Gazette.
