LCGS Memberships run from January to December and the annual due date for renewal is January 2nd of each year.
Any new member joining after January receives the back issues of the current year’s newsletters. The one exception is for those joining in November or December — their membership is extended for the next year.
2018 LCGS membership annual fee schedule
New membership categories and their appropriate membership fees were introduced as of January 1st, 2016.
- Individual membership is $30.00
- Family membership is $40.00 same household address
- Student membership is $15.00, with confirmed registration at an accredited educational facility
- Corporate membership is $35.00 (libraries, societies, charity organizations and corporations)
Membership includes a postal subscription or email subscription to the LCGS newsletter (6 issues per year) and the opportunity to place your family research interests in the newsletter.
Online — Complete your Membership Form and pay through our Secure PayPal account. Credit cards payments accepted. Note: you’ll need to fill in the correct amount from the list above.
Interac E-Transfer — Email your completed form and contact our LCGS Membership Committee Co-ordinator for further instructions.
Mail — Download, Complete and Print the Membership Form and mail it with your CDN fund cheque, bank draft or money order.

Lanark County Genealogical Society is a registered charity. Only donations to LCGS beyond the annual membership fees are tax deductible. Receipts will be issued automatically for donations $25.00 and over; receipts for amounts between $10.00 and $24.99 will be sent only on request.
