Sunday, September 9, 2018​,  Lanark County Harvest Festival takes place from  11:00 am to 4:00 pm in beautiful Beckwith Park, 9th Line Road near Ashton ON.             FREE ADMISSION

This festival was named a provincial finalist for “Ontario Culinary Tourism Event of the Year” by the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance! The 4th annual event celebrates fine and local foods from 11 am to 4 pm. You’ll find food seminars, tastings, children’s activities, and local musicians.

October 18, 2018:  Candle Light Ghost Walk @ Heritage House Museum  11 Old Sly’s Rd, Smiths Falls, Ontario, K7A 3M3

Get scared this October with the return of Ghost Walks at Heritage House Museum. The stories of ghost sightings, forgotten graves, international intrigue and haunted houses have been slowly collected by the museum. Now, the museum will be sharing these stories with those who dare to tip toe through the museum’s haunted rooms illuminated by candlelight. Thursday evenings on October 18th and 25th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, costumed guides will take groups through candlelit period rooms. This special tour will explore oral traditions and mysterious happenings of the Smiths Falls’ area and the museum.

For $10 for adults and $5 for children 18 and under.
